This is just a blog about helping homeless people. I think that it can fill your heart with great joy to help the poor people everywhere. They really need help from their brothers and sisters to give them a lift up out of their problems.
Today I helped my friend John. John lives under an overpass and it was raining today. I went out to help him and with God's help I ran right into him. Now he has a phone and a poncho to help keep him out of the rain. He really wants a phone so he can call his mom. He also is missing his top teeth and has chronic back pain. He is all alone, but I feel like if people go out to save the poor then they really can help.
I feel like everyone should adopt our poor people as brothers and sisters. I read in the bible that Jesus and God love us and want us to give freely of our own hearts and expect nothing in return. How can we ever help the poor if we can't give freely, because they really have nothing that they can give us but their love.
And the truth is that love really is the best way to be repayed. Love is a gift that keeps on giving.
So I would encourage everyone to give to the poor because you will feel loved and Jesus said that God loves us when we do such things.
